My season 2011
November 2nd, 2011 | Posted by in UncategorizedEven when it´s not snowing yet here in Germany, you can feel that winter is coming. For most people it´s the time of the year, to get the skis out of the basement and wait for the white gold and look forward to the first powder sessions. That doesn´t mean that the kayaking season is over. Normaly you can also do some stuff in the winter time but to be honest for me it´s more fun to go paddling when the weather is warm and sunny. The year 2011 was one of the best of my whole life. I was able to make holidays from February till September and visit a lot of countrys. I was skiing in Austria, surfing and kayaking in Indonesia, kayaking in california, Norway and Sweden. Not too bad, but now it´s time to get serious in my job and earn some money that i can travel next year again. I had a really good time again in Norway even when it was my 5th time now up in the north. It´s such a nice country with amazing rivers and scenery. You can find all you want from big and steep waterfalls to massive rivers with a lot of flow. The small town Voss on its own is a mekka for a lot of different extreme sports and especially for kayaking. But enough of boring words, have a look at the pictures.
on a river…
